Marilyn, it didn't shrink up as much as I thought it would. It's a good six feet.
Thanks for the compliments

Elizabeth you could try shrinking it some more with further fulling in the length only.

Finally, Marilyn and I placed our WOW order yesterday! And we did some carding. I will count that as a double dose of fiber, closing out the very short month of February with a flourish. beautiful blues by catwycliff, on Flickr More photos and lessons coming soon!

Sea and sky! Gorgeous batt. I need a green smiley to make any comment on the drum carder

Ooooh, drum carder not so fun, not so easy! You all have made carding LOOK like fun but I found it to be a bit dodgy. Steep learning curve for me. Good thing Marilyn was coaching!
Sea and sky, yes, thanks Koffipot. Now I have inspiration for some felting. More inspiration would be to take myself out of this arctic blast of winter and relocate to a tropical isle.

Yeah, I had this vision of tossing down bits of fiber and coming up with a wonderful batt, lush with shading and glam and inspiration. That batt would lead me to a magnificent pod or chic garment. Apparently, I need a few more carding lessons. ;-]]
