I make my own. Want to go down another rabbit hole Elizabeth, take up spinning, the sister addiction to felting.

Hah, Ann, not a chance!!! I have a close coworker who spins & weaves who keeps trying to get me to add those to my repertoire. No thanks!

I found out today that Lubslo the Russian Felter now has a website in English. I ordered her book in PDF format today but have not recived the instructions for downloading it yet. www.crowsnest.ru/about.htmlOnce I get the download instructions from her I may order a vest pattern from her. I know most of you make your own but I am not comfortable making a garment pattern and figuring the shrinkage. Her patterns are figured with 30% shrinkage and come S M L & XL sizes.

Frances, thanks for posting this. While I can make a pattern it saves time to have it done for you. :-). I also ordered the book.

Yes. You may want to check your spam folder. It's all in Russian. Plus you only have 72 hours to access it.

Marilyn & Frances, please do give us your reviews of the e-book. I have looked at it several times on Etsy & managed to refrain from buying it - I wondered if you really needed the patterns too.

Frances, I saw that site, too. I almost downloaded the book, but I saw that she's selling a vest kit, complete with all supplies for only $47. I ordered that. I won't be able to do much with it soon as I don't have the space for a full vest, but it will spur me on to getting the space set up.

I saw the kits also - and am thinking about them - just was not sure of the colors - which one did you choose.

Frances, I selected the Creativity Kit #4 in Sunrise - the light blue. The color selection didn't 'wow' me, but the kit and all her directions on the net did. I've only made one seamless clothing object (vest her in US :-P ), so I"m a beginner.

I ordered the amazing felted clothing PDF which I downloaded (all in English) and apparently patterns come by airmail. Great file and looking forward to the patterns.

Jill, the ebook is informative. I had seen the some of the same instructions online so it's probably not necessary to buy it. But you don't know until you buy. I like to support artists so for $10 I didn't mind spending the money. I believe Nada posted the links here on the forum. As far as the pattern, I can make my own, but I have back problems and reserve my bending and standing to do the felting. :-)

Elizabeth - I like that pattern alot - especially the neckline - I was thinking of number 3 - but will probably just order a pattern to start. Let me know when you get your kit - I guess it could take several weeks.
As far as the Ebook goes I have seen some of it already on line - but it is worth the $10 to me to support her and have her layout techniques at my finger tips. I have not studied the book in detail yet.
