Time to start a fresh daily dose of fiber for the New Year!
It will be challenging for me personally to continue the daily dose, what with paid work for the next two months, and trips to see Dear Mum at the physical rehab home. Somehow, though, I hope to squeeze in an every other day dose, or something like that.
To start off the year right, I finished work on an autumnal Japanese foliage landscape, and I will post a photo if the sun decides to shine tomorrow.
What are you working on in fiber right now? Do you have your daily dose ready to share?

so far my fiber doings have been to do some rearranging with the new shelves I got for Christmas. The storage box sales should be starting soon so I will get more clear boxes.

Near impossible for me, I managed to trip over a bin Monday before Xmas and went splat and dislocated my shoulder. A real grotty end to a grotty year. Very frustrating, I am up in the studio typing this and there is so much I want to be getting on with but it requires 2 good arms. I am just grateful nothing was broken. Tess

Tess - sorry to hear about your arm. I have company at the moment but I did do a little sketching this morning of a seed pod and a piece of bark.

Tess, I'm sorry to hear about your arm, but glad it's not broken.
I'm traveling so no felting for me until after the 13th. I miss it and will be glad to have a week or so at home to get back in some type of groove.

Aaw, sorry to hear about your arm, Tess I started some carding the other day. I've blended some 18.5 mic Yellow Merino with some natural soy top, and some yellowy dyed silk, milk and soy. I've started blending some 18.5 mic black Merino with black (grey really) bamboo, and dyed black/dark grey soy, silk and milk. Once that's done, I'm going to blend them together. I've done something similar before and it gives a heathery mossy green look. I'm not sure how blended I'll do it, I'll see how it looks.

Not to be defeated I have adapted my technique whilst sorting the VM out of my Mohair, I am wedged into the armchair so my left arm is fairly motionless and I'm able to still go through it quite efficiently, onwards and upwards. Tess

Nice autumn piece Cathy - love the color mix. Adding just a little blue and purple was a great idea to contrast with the warmer colors. Thinking about color today!

Nice landscape, Cathy and nice colours. This could be your contribution to the first quarter challenge.
