Sorry for the late reply ladies! Life is a bit nuts for me right now. Yes, fiddly is a good word but I have another one for this project! The instructions suggested that you start with a pot holder. Not me, I went for a 6 footer! It took several days of lay out a rolling. I don't really remember the amount of yardage I used but I did use pencil roving. Three layers. I love to look at the finished product and love the texture. Makes a great table runner, but I will not be making any more! FIDDLY, FARKLY and FOOKEY to say the least! It might make a good class though if you really did a trivit! It must have been really difficult to get 3 layers between the bubble wrap. I am still thinking about making it.
