Ann, you should have a play around with your camera and see what it does before spending money on one which might not be any better. Here's a guide: iphonephotographyschool.com/iphone-camera/You might just have to do what I do and cart your stuff around to a good place to take photos, it's a lot cheaper than buying light boxes and lamps etc. Then if you do need to buy a lamp for videos which can't be done anywhere else, you'll have saved a bit of money

I will definitely need them for video. A tripod too I suppose. For those doing video, how do you get shots of what you are doing form over head so people can see.

My husband's tripod is fancy and can turn the camera in all directions including looking down.

My Tripod is cheap and doesn't angle the camera all the way down. But for sharper angles, I tilt the actual tripod, so the front 2 legs are leaning on the desk or sink. Those mini tripods aren't much use, there's no counter balance for the weight of the camera.
