All of the Santas are good-looking guys! Wish I had time to do ornaments this year. I’ll be lucky to get a tree decorated!

Frances, if I did have any tips, I wouldn't tell you, they are ace!

Frances - your snowmen look good. Needle felting just takes practice. The more you do, the more you figure out how to make the shapes etc. Felting into acrylic felt isn't all that easy either. I have found that white flannel works nicely as a background fabric for needle felting.

Thank you everyone - I guess my eye was too critical of my work - making "pot covers" today. It is about 52 F today with 20 mile an hour winds blowing off the Ocean - no beach walking today!

These were the needle-felted mittens I made in 2012, the beginning of my wool fiber journey. Very simple--cookie cutter shape filled in with wool and attached to a flat piece of felt for support. Hey, we all have to start somewhere! Christmas 2012 by catwycliff, on Flickr

These were the Cookie cutter Christmas trees I made in 2012. The white ones are needle-felted to hang as ornaments. The green tree is a bit thicker and is actually a brooch. IMG_0296 by catwycliff, on Flickr

It's always interesting to go back to the beginning of your journey to see how far you've come.

Nice ornaments! I should stock up on holiday cookie cutters once the holidays have past to use for next year.

Thanks all…needle-felting was the perfect spot for me to begin my love affair with sheep’s wool!
Love those slippers, Nada! Sadly, I never got a chance to make any slippers, although I do have the lasts now.

Ruth - it is nice to go back to the start of your journey to see how you've developed.
I would urge anyone just starting their journey to take photos of everything. I didn't and I regret that.
