Great jacket Judith great stockings Judy Zed If I tried to make something on the floor my husband would have to bring the tractor and pick me up.

I agree about the stockings becoming heirlooms! I'll be looking for knee pads next time I'm out, and maybe a pulley since I have no tractor nearby

Zed - I have this little cart thing with wheels I sit on when gardening - wonder if that would work if you ever try felting on the floor again ;-)

My daily dose is a tiny baby dress! About 6-9 months, reversible. It has various yarns & a little tussah silk on the front, which doesn't show up well on the pic, with some silk 'roses'. I have 3 more to make next week, so I could do a mini-tutorial if anyone is interested?

The dress is absolutely beautiful! What a lucky little baby. My sons are not yet married--no grandchildren either. Would love to have a reason to make something so charming.

Jill, the dress is adorable! Thanks for posting.
If you have time to do one, that would be great. We could use it on the Blog if you'd like. Just email and let me know.

Some great work going on out there! Love the cards, stockings, jacket and baby dress! I’ve been making flat felt scarves to sell in my Etsy shop. Tis the season. I must feed my felting addiction! B & W Wool Scarf by catwycliff, on Flickr

Lovely baby dress Jill, We have a new baby in the extended family and though I know such a dress would be appreciated, I just know the mother sticks everything in the washing machine, so it may have to be the calico rabbit on the windowsill awaiting her dungarees and a hat

Jill what adorable little dress. I assume this is nuno felted dress. Did you put silk underneath? Cathy, this is a nice scarf. Good luck with selling. I like it because it looks very thin. Did you use just one layer of wool?

Thanks, Nada. I used a commercial batt for the white part, medium thin (probably somewhere between l and 2 layers). The black accents are made from Finn wool, which I had never used before.
