Very good Carole. The pods, stones and portrait are all fabulous. Is your bottom stone some hand spun?

Beautiful scarf Judith and the french knots really enhance it. (The Swaledale meadows photo is wonderful.)

A gorgeous scarf Judith and it truly looks like the impression of the Swaledale Meadow. The French knots are a great addition.

Beautiful scarf Judith. the knots really add to the effect of a meadow. Did you layer all the colours or was it multi coloured top? it looks like there is silk in there.

Just love this scarf, Judith, and the photo as well. Clever to add French knots to represent the wildflowers. Thanks for sharing your work!

Thanks for your comments. I'm going to handsew some fine black silk onto the back to hide the messy back of my embroidery! Ann, it's this WOW mix:- Bumble Bee per 100g code: B52 The softness of Merino Raven and Merino Jonquil blended with Black Diamond Bamboo and Natural Soybean to create a silky bumble bee effect. Very appropriate to have bumble bees and flowers together.

Judith, the scarf is gorgeous and as Cathy said genius to use the French knots for the flowers. The photo is indeed very inspirstional.

Carole - welcome back, we've missed you. I love your new avatar and your land art is perfect for the challenge. Especially like the pile of felted stones. Judith - I was just about to ask about the back of the scarf. I wondered what you did to hide the threads. Your scarf is gorgeous and I think fits nicely into the category.

What a beautiful scarf, it looks just like the fields, and so cosy looking :-)
Thank you for the warm welcome, I will be a bit here and there for a while, but hoping by next year I'll have found my felting hands again :-)
