Yeah, Ruth's right. For the tutorial I did, I used my small draining board, a little bit of the kitchen counter and one 2 tiered steamer, for a fair amount of silk throwster's waste and some nylon. A whole garage to yourself sounds good

Yes if you can get the whole garage take it. For a long time I worked in an old 18 wheeler truck trailer. We put a window in and a door at the end and i could use it for 3 seasons.

OMG, I just got my etsy order from you and want to thank you so much!! I got a fabulous lot of stuff to play with and I can't wait to get started! Thank you, thank you, thank you! (just a hint, I would have easily paid three times the price)
Love you all, and thanks again!

Gina - so, if you're going to be banished to the garage (which I am, when it comes to dyeing) get a really cheap microwave and use old jam jars or plastic containers and do the dyeing in the garage, solves the problem of having 'nasties' in the house. Fibre is "family" and cannot possibly be banished from the house. Husbands however, can be banished to wherever (just don't tell mine I said this). Children - well, there's the rub!! :0)

I received my fiber pack yesterday, it is fantastic!!!!! There are so many new things to have a go at. I have to wait until the weekend to start experimenting. I don't know what to start on first.... I am thinking a big bag to carry my work stuff in....

Does the Etsy shop still exist? I clicked on the link in the first post in this thread but got an error: www.etsy.com/shop/FeltandFiberStudioThen I went to Etsy proper and tried to search for it, but no luck.
