I like it! A perfect gift for a new baby, all those colours and shapes would hold a baby's interest. It's not easy to get mobiles balanced and not get into a tangle at the same time.

OMG yes, Judith…the balance and tangle. My first and last mobile. Thanks!

Hello Cathy, the circle project turned out great. Every time I do a wet project it never really come exactly how I thought it would. Smile.

"Rock hard wool" on Instagram. Video proof! I know this is an old thread but I thought of you all when this piece finally hardened. I used the GAC 400 again with a 50/50 water dilution. I used at least 4oz of the stuff and it took 3 days to dry (with regular turning to make sure there weren't any drips). I'll post the final piece here once it's finished.

I listened - it's amazing how something that looks like wool can sound like pottery!
(Annie and I have stiffened some of our landscape/seascape pieces to great effect using cmc paste.)

My circles never got quite that hard, but I did not use 4 ozs. of GAC. I am working on a 3-D sculpture and will try a larger dose of GAC when it is finished. Look forward to seeing your finished work!

Thanks for the information on the products - have added them to my Felting Reference File - I was going to suggest the Stiffy Product which I haved used before but not with felt. I believe you can make "Stiffy" with the starch that comes in a box that is mixed with water.

Wow Lyn, I absolutely LOVE your landscapes. I especially LOVE the middle one. Those are my colors. Smile.. Thank you - the top one was mine, and I can't take credit for the one you like because the bottom two were done by the other half of rosiepink i.e. my daughter Annie!

So now some questions, what is cmc paste? di you apply it to the fabric and then shape or shape and then apply? Would it stick peices together? Thinking you could different shaping and then over lap them slightly.
