Zed. I see on Google images that your version of "Sass" is coming up ahead of much of Stephenson's own work!! Well done.

Ha! That's odd I wonder if it's because I posted on the studio site and my blog too.

Halay I love your bag, the colours, shape and those handles go together so well, so unique.
Ruth your piece is gorgeous floating balloons and streamers.
I haven't had a go yet, yet I am so inspired by what everyone is making.
Congratulations Zed way to go :-)

suitably inspired I made a piece from his modern art flower piece, I think I need to add stitch for more definition :-)

Very nice Carole - a bit of stitch certainly wouldn't hurt anything

I think your piece is much prettier than the inspiration piece! You've achieved a wonderful feeling of movement (like a breeze in a garden) with lovely colours. The piece is very much alive.

Beautiful Carole! I agree with Lyn. It has more movement and looks alive. Thanks Lyn.

carole, this is very pretty. I can see some poppy flowers and butterflies. What are going to do with this?

That's really nice, Carole! Before I even finished laying mine out I planned to stitch it, but I'm worried now I'll ruin it, I just can't visualise stitching like others can.

It turned out great Carol. Will you hang it up? Zed why not scan it into the computer and then play with some line effects in photoshop. it might help you visualise stitching it better.

Or you can use tracking paper to draw in different lines to see how you like it. Then place the tracing paper over the piece.

Nice work, Carole! All of the works that have been submitted for this challenge have been impressive, which makes it also the harder for me to get moving on it. I had something picked out last week, but when I began by felting the base, it seemed all wrong. Now I will need to choose something different.
