No, another trip planned at that time. You are doing Lisa's felting class same weekend, right? Would have loved to have done both, but planned a Japan tour long, long time ago. Not complaining, just can’t do both. Would love to hear how you enjoy both the class and the festival.

It should be a wonderful festival as it is near Asheville NC which is a haven for artists and a favorite place to visit. Maybe next year I can plan to go.

Timing is everything in this case. The SAFF starts the day after my workshop. In fact, it was Lisa that suggested I stick around Asheville for a bit longer to enjoy the fiber festival and it's such a great city to visit anyway.
I'll definitely report back.

Have you been to it before? Will you be going this year? I *just* saw this post..eep. I did go to SAFF two years ago and it was enormous! If I were a spinner or knitter my head would have exploded with the sheer volume of goods. Thankfully, I could focus on batts & roving but even then it was an overwhelming experience. Hundreds of vendors.. from livestock to finished product and every variance in between. Have fun if you go! |
