No, another trip planned at that time. You are doing Lisa's felting class same weekend, right? Would have loved to have done both, but planned a Japan tour long, long time ago. Not complaining, just can’t do both. Would love to hear how you enjoy both the class and the festival.

It should be a wonderful festival as it is near Asheville NC which is a haven for artists and a favorite place to visit. Maybe next year I can plan to go.

Timing is everything in this case. The SAFF starts the day after my workshop. In fact, it was Lisa that suggested I stick around Asheville for a bit longer to enjoy the fiber festival and it's such a great city to visit anyway.
I'll definitely report back.

Have you been to it before? Will you be going this year?

Have you been to it before? Will you be going this year? I *just* saw this post..eep. I did go to SAFF two years ago and it was enormous! If I were a spinner or knitter my head would have exploded with the sheer volume of goods. Thankfully, I could focus on batts & roving but even then it was an overwhelming experience. Hundreds of vendors.. from livestock to finished product and every variance in between. Have fun if you go!
