I think trimits are probably using different types of wool in their packets, the reason behind my thinking is. After making the horse/pony, I am well and truly hooked. so hot footed back to hobbycraft again today, and now started another needled project, but this wool feels different and not coarse and its taking its time felting, I think its going to take me a while to finish it, although I am still loving it. Tomorrows project is wet felting and looking forward to giving this a go.

Pollypixie - Your little horse looks really cute - well done. Have fun with next project. Kits are great to try something new without a great outlay, but should you happen to succumb to the same 'fibre addiction' we all suffer from, you'll find lots of advice on this site to help you source your materials more economically. Wow, that's really good, Polly! I'd be happy if I'd worked my way up to something like that, let alone made it for a first try I have only poked myself a couple of times, but made sure I went really deep both times. |

Hi Koffipot I can 100% say I have succumbed, even after 1 small project I know I am well and totally hooked. Last night I hardly slept working on my 2nd item well into the night, then when sleep eventually came it was disturbed sleep waking with plans for my next project. So yes I think I may be addicted.
