This cushion cover front measures 16"x16".
It was made from 4 layers of merino wool - 3 layers of white and the top layer multi-coloured in a random way. I cut a circle and petals from some old chiffon scarves and nuno'd them on. I needle felted the yellow outline petals using a boucle-type yarn, then I stitched purple circles in the centre and purple lines through the yellow outline petals.

Very nice! I like the way the flower is described by the yarn and supported by the placement of the different fabrics underneath and the stitching on top.

Thank you for your kind comments!
I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do, but it really sort of 'evolved' along the way - but I expect most of us do that from time to time eh?
