We've just started doing a series of tutorials for beginners in a monthly magazine called 'Popular Crafts'. Last month we did 'how to make a felt bead and simple jewellery' and this month it's a step-by-step tutorial for a seamless bag.
It's surprising how difficult it is at this time of year - not the felting - the taking of photos of each stage of the process! The light is difficult to get and stress levels go through the roof.

That's a lovely bag, and the photo is really good too I know what you mean about the photos, I find the light so much better at this time of year, it seems more 'pure' and less hazy and yellow. But there's not many hours to catch it, and if it isn't coming in the window where you're working, it's impossible. Is it a real magazine or online?

The bag is wonderful Lyn. That sounds like a lot of work doing the tutorials on a monthly basis. Photo taking can be stressful as I learned when writing my book.

Thank you all for your kind comments. We tried to make the bag easy enough for a beginner but interesting enough not to look too basic.
Zed - it's a real magazine, that's why the photos have to be good. (The editor reckons you can get away with lesser photos if they're for online.)
Ruth - you've been there! I felted a simple scarf today for a tutorial, and I got really stressed trying to catch what light was available. It didn't help that it was a mixed bag today of sun, cloud and rain and it's the shortest day tomorrow in the UK.
