Great hat Ann and really cool idea to make it big enough to fit over a bike helmet!

Wow, I'd say you were incredibly restrained Judith, last year I had bought 3 fleeces in the first 30 mins and needed to make 2 more trips to the car after that to offload all my goodies in a way I'm glad it is so far away so I can't go every year Have you got the loom set up yet?

I agree with Jill, £15 seems too cheap for what you are providing. The kit looks great, and making up the packs as customers pay for them makes sense to me!

Lovely slippers Nada! I made 2 similar hats last summer but they both sold before I could take some decent pictures so I had to make another!
Great hat Ann, thanks for posting Ruth, he has a fabulous mane and gorgeous horns!

Ah but it still thinks it is part of a very long axe, bit like a jack Russell terrier that thinks he is a Rottweiler! I'm sure a determined Carole will put it to effective use too, there's no stopping a fibre addict!

Fab hats Sue! I love the brooch and feathers decoration too, I assume you did not buy the brooch? Have you seen similar brooches for sale elsewhere (Etsy vintage might be a good place to look), then add the price of the hat....

Lovely Sue, very striking colours and the White felt has a beautiful sheen. What did you use for the binding?

Thank you ladies, I'm not a carpenter by any stretch of the imagination so I'm chuffed to bits with how the handle cleaned up with a bit of sanding and varnish I suspect he despairs of my whacky ideas at times but knows better than to say anything! We have an unspoken agreement that I will take the lead on anything that requires imagination or aesthetic appreciation (choosing paint colours or kitchen cabinets for example) while he is responsible for anything technical (rewiring the house, plumbing etc). I think it must be a boy thing to look at a beautiful piece of wood and think "burn it!"

It is a bit on the big side! I see it as a grocery bag, it has a gusseted bottom so will happily stand up in a shopping trolley on its own. The next one will be a little shorter but the same width

Not sure that this is what Ann had in mind when she set the challenge this quarter but my other half broke an axe handle a few weeks ago and while he saw firewood, I saw a couple of bag handles so I "rescued" the wood to make this bag (and another yet to be made).

Teri, your fish is fantastic! Did you enjoy working with the LED lights? Thanks Cathy, I bought a few different sets of lights to have a play so I expect there will be at least another two felted lamps in the near future, maybe nemo next?
