silk hankies dying problem

I have not tried to dye silk, but I use the fiber reactive dyes on cotton and the black is always unpredictable. I have never really gotten a true black. I will usually just buy it already dyed. However, Ruth mentioned that she thought you could use them on silk. I may try some next time.

fiber reactive dye works really well with silk. that what I use to get multicoloured scarves using a low water immersion technique.
