What type of photo fabric do you prefer Judy? Do you use cottons or silks?

I chose the kind that you find in the sewing shops, June Taylor. Sometimes I spend more money and buy the better grade that is found in the quilt shops. Depending on what I am making. It is cotton. It works quite well, if you tweak your settings a little on the printer for a somewhat denser or lighter color.
Today I spent a lot of time with my granddaughter. It is her 18th birthday. She is the only grandchild that lives near me and she will be graduating in May. I did manage to do a little hand sewing while I watched a movie tonight. Tomorrow I will go to the quilt guild, art quilt meeting. We will be working with Femo clay.

Went to Quilt Odyssey this morning. We worked with clay and they had a lot of tools that I had never seen before. They had the pasta machines and all kinds of accessories. I never knew there were so many elements available to be used for clay. You wouldn't believe some of the little sculptures that our teacher had made. I don't have enough years left to live to learn all that stuff. It was amazing.

Sounds like you had fun Judy, i guess a lot of people like to think outside the box, using a pasta machine for clay would be so much fun, never would have thought of that

Know what you mean Judy - life is unfair - just when you really start enjoying yourself and know where you're headed..........

I have a pasta machine just for fimo, I don't do the kind of work that needs it though. I'd love to be able to do mica shift, I love that.

I've made another summer dress today, hence the blizzard we're having just now. Still, going to Barcelona in a few weeks, so at least I should get to wear them for a few days!!

I would think that a trip to Spain would be wonderful. I am too old now to be taking long trips. My husband never wants to leave his recliner, so it doesn't look good for vacations.
Went out for Corned Beef and Cabbage today. Don't cook that much anymore. It was just so crowded on St. Patrick's Day, I wish I had stayed home. Came home and worked in the studio with organizing and sorting again. We are getting company at the end of the week. My two granddaughters will be sleeping in the studio, so everything has to be put away. I also put some pictures on the Quilt Odyssey page of my blog. They are of our clay session. I found a lot of tutorials on polymer clay on Pinterest. May try some of those, but I don't intend to become a clay artist. Just not enough time for that.

I didn't even see a float for st Patrick's day this year. Judy, if you have rubber stamps you can use those with fimo, wipe them with baby wipes afterwards.
