The rugs look great. Sometimes the only way to get the edges thick enough is to fold them over after everything is wet. Oh yes, heat and humidity affect the wool but they affect me more. Somehow they even affect me in my airconditioned space.

Beautiful designs! A lot of work too.
In theory the wool should felt better when the mercury rises ... unless of course you have air con in your house?
I often warm up the felt to help with the fulling.

I resolved my wavy edges by soaking them with boiling water. Worked. I have been busy making more rufs and have learned so much about wool and layout. Be sure to make the edges thicker and they don't roll. Happy felting.
