Well how's that we have either all been very busy or lolling around doing nothing. It already the 19th and no daily dose for August. I think mostly I have been lolling. Today, however I felted 30 bars of soap for a show coming in early September. I have very clean hands. The other day I did some carding but there will be a blog post about that next week.

Busy at the store and very little time for anything else.

Today I got back into my studio for the first time in weeks and thoroughly enjoyed a bit of energetic wet felting. First I made some flat pebbles that I may use for cards then two large placemats with a combination of Corriedale, Finnish and Merino wools in natural greys embellished with some Romney locks, grey Angora and off-white Merino. I love how ‘sheepy’ my hand smell this evening.
Prior to that I’ve been doing some needle felted mussel shells and investigating hyperbolic crochet as I’ve been out & about and these I can do easily wherever I am.
