Hello, I'm a Swedish artist living and working in Paris, France. I discovered needle felting a few months ago thanks to a friend in Norway. I immediately was hooked. I make sculptures and flat art. I've been scanning the internet for advice and tutos since I started and I'm very happy to have found this forum. I love to learn and exchange advice. I'm working in several media: photography, drawing, printmaking, watercolor… with my personal style and a visual language that I try to pursue no matter what technique I'm using at the moment. I'm looking forward to see new works here, get inspired and hopefully inspire other artists. You can find some of my work on my instagram. www.instagram.com/karin_crona_smudge/

Hi ladies, Thank you so much for your friendly welcome messages! So happy to be here and hope for some interesting and inspiring exchanges. Right now I'm doing flat needle felting on a piece of velvet I found at a flea market. I work from both sides to create "halo effects". In my childhood I was constantly surrounded by fibre and textile as my mother does a little bit of everything (sewing, knitting, embroidery, quilting) and does it very well, following given paths. I have always been the "wild child", creating from pure imagination. I think what is great is the complementarity and that we all have our way of communicating through the arts and crafts. Looking forward to follow what's going on here and share some stuff too!
