I recently treated myself to a little travelling companion in the form of a little Kromski Presto 10" loom and here are a couple of items I've woven on this holiday. The first is of Handspun, space dyed, Wensleydale warp with a navy merino weft. I love the weaving you’ve shown here. I haven’t done weaving (and don’t need any more creative obsessions!) but it’s great to see your lovely creations and the variation in your work.
I also smiled at you making things while on holiday. I always end up making stuff when I’m on holiday, even if I don’t plan to. I’ve just returned home from holiday when I’ve ended up doing lots of beading because it’s easy to transport and can readily be picked up / put down. It’s great you’re so well organised that you take a loom with you.

Lovely weaving and spinning. It is great that you can buy fleece where the breed originated. The ridged heddle looms are so popular now. I usually pack my drop spindle or stitching when I am out.

Did you spin the yarn or visit the shop in Leyburn?
On a recent flight, my friend and I were in the very last seats at the back. Shortly after take-off we dropped a crochet hook which the steward helped us retrieve from under the seat, then a while later he made a general announcement - 'to all our passengers including our active crocheters.....' yup guilty as charged we both just sat there giggling.
