Cool, it is unexpected. It is great and I bet it is even better in person.

Love your take on water. I wasn't expecting ice! Thanks, Ruth It was a combination of playing with fusible Angelina fibre a few weeks ago and thinking about doing a cracked mud piece that led me to ice. If I have time tonight I may even sew a few white / iridescent beads along some of the edges.

Cool, it is unexpected. It is great and I bet it is even better in person. Thanks, Ann. It certainly doesn’t photograph well (or should I say I found it difficult to take photos of it). It’s the tallest of the pieces so I think quite striking.

Wow! The ice is a great idea for 'water'. Beautiful!

Lindsay, I hope the exhibition is going well. Will you be able to share a picture of the alchemy group?

Lindsay, I hope the exhibition is going well. Will you be able to share a picture of the alchemy group? Thank you, Pamster. I’ve forgotten to take a good photo of it! I’m back there Thursday so will try to remember. I took this one but the lighting was bad. Fortunately someone got it moved around so it’s not this bad in real life. There are 19 artists / makers in the exhibition so I don’t have to be there to staff it very often. www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/48470564

Beautiful display Lindsay. Is this a group that you exhibit with on a regular basis or a one time thing?

Beautiful display Lindsay. Is this a group that you exhibit with on a regular basis or a one time thing? Thank you, Ruth. It’s a group called Made in Whitstable - we have a 2 week exhibition once a year and it’s also related to the beach hut I exhibit at in the harbour here. This annual exhibition is open to all members (though numbers may be limited); with the beach hut you have to sign up to take part for the year. It’s a loose collective of local artists and makers with a minimal annual membership fee (£10). There’s a public Facebook page if you’re interested in seeing more about the group & other members’ work.

I will look it up on Facebook. It always interests me to see how these type of groups work, how they do their exhibitions etc. I love the beach hut idea.

Now that I think about it for a while, I think I asked you this before. Sorry to repeat myself
