My daughter Annie has used painting techniques, that she learned at West Dean in the summer, to create this wet felted art.

Wow, that really zings with colour! Can you give us an example of the painting techniques mentioned? That's an easy one to answer Lindsay. Annie has written about the painting techniques in her last two blog posts. This one describes the painting course: painting courseAnd this one shows felt process: felting

Fantastic. The use of colour and composition is great. I enjoyed reading Annie’s painting post back in Sept, but I missed her felting post yesterday....i’m playing catch-up as i’m currently visiting family in Germany. A chance to check up on crafts, and visit the Christmas markets, etc etc!

Thanks, Lyn. I thought I’d subscribed to the blog but clearly not. Going to do that now.

Thanks for the links. I will have a look. The picture is fabulous. I always forget to check my blog list. I used to have a good reader but they stopped and deleted it and I haven't found another one a really like since.

Sorry, forgot to mention finished size of felt - it's approx 55cm x 30cm (21.5" x 12").
