I bought some vibrantly coloured trilobal nylon from a wool show yesterday (I will be putting together a blog for the site about my visit) Do any users like/loathe it, does it retain its lustre when felted?

Zed's the one to ask about Trilobal Nylon. The only photo I have of my using it is in the link below - I put it on top of the final layer of wool on the turquoisey piece on the left and I think it looks a bit like marble: challenge

I've used it with wool to make rollags and it spins up great. I have the supper bright so there is lots of sparkle. My student have used it on scarves but I don't think I have any pictures . when I take the pictures the scarves are still wet and that dulls the sparkle. It works like silk, a thin layer felts right in but thicker amounts need to have a little wool to tack them down.

Looking at the post Zed wrote, I realise that I must have used a very dull colour trilobal!

Lyn I got the most sparkly they had. It is quite soft and takes dye very well.
