I would live in a house like that. I have seen a similar designed one somewhere on my travels. it was a bungalow so spread out but all curves and funny little roofs, windows and doors. when you are rich and famous you can build one.

I have made a few quirky pincushions as well as this one, a sea and beach with shells, cake slices, oh and sea, beach and a penguin, as you do !
Just more small items for the fairs.

Amazing! Love the way you've done the fruit.
It may be zero calorie ... but it's very high fibre!

Remember when I was muttering about the cost of the vintage tea cups in the charity shops, this is what I had in mind, but they were too expensive to make it viable.

In hindsight I think I am happier not bothering with the teacup design. My pincushion lives in my sewing box, so this would not be possible with a bulky tea cup and saucer.
By the way I have never been a patient or very interested needle felter until I had a loan of a multi needle tool from a friend. Yes it is quicker but the main advantage for me is the finish, the stab holes are diminished compared to a single needle, so it looks smoother.
As I said, not a new direction, just a few more fair items.

Lovely pin cushions. Especially love the cheesecake. My only concern is that it looks so delicious it would make me peckish every time I used it. Any chance you’ve got a version that makes salad look just as tempting?!

Maybe a tasty tomato, I have an apple pincushion, that would be far healthier.
