Carole, you've done a great job on your cardigan. It must have taken you a lot of time. Did you wet felt the flowers in the end? I was playing with texture and made a sample using grey merino wool as a base and then on top put lots of different fibers: viscose, silk, carrier rods, cocoons, two pieces of velvet (black), lace, throwster waste, silk noil (perhaps I've forgotten to mention something) www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=913020218852607&set=rpd.100004339126673&type=3&theater I quite like the texture and I think I'm going to use it again one some jacket perhaps.

I have a question for you soap felters. I felted some last year in preparation for a church sale. When I pulled them out for the sale I found that some of them had molded. Just a little bit.. I was able to scrub it off mostly Do I need to make them just before the sale, or did I not store them correctly? I think I had them in a plastic bag. I stored some in a large plastic tub for about ten months and they were fine. However, they were bone dry when I put them in and the tub was stored in an area that's kept at a fairly even temperature - not too hot and not too cold.

My daily dose the other day was sorting through a pile of felt for using on projects, which has grown quicker than I can use it. I like to kid myself that buying more and more tubs to store my stuff neatly makes me a collector and not a hoarder

Is there a difference between collector and hoarder?

Possibly Ruth - My take would be you collect things you think are of value, you hoard things simply because you cannot bare to throw them away!!
My daily dose was ordering wool from World Of Wool and wondering if I have even a slim chance of it arriving in this, the run up to Christmas week !!!

Well even though it is Christmas Eve, I have been felting this afternoon (well it IS raining!)
I approached a gallery to see if they would take in my sheepy tea cosies and they said yes bring them along! So that's a goal for early New Year
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.
