I want to try to make a needle felted doll and sew some clothes for her so my daughters could dress her up. Would that work?

Sounds like a fun idea - yes, I think it would work.

I made needle felted dolls for the grandkids when they were little. You need to make sure they are sturdy but it works fine.

Sounds like a great idea. They should be easier to dress then the stiff plastic dolls

Just make sure you needle felt each part enough to make it sturdy. You don't want them to fall apart or pill too easily if your fibres aren't compact enough.
