Woo-Hoo! I like the idea of the gallery buying the cards from you - much better than sale or return!

Ooh I do like a woo-hoo! Thanks Lyn, I'm bowled over. I was so nervous! The gallery is full of beautiful things. Luckily my friend was beside me for moral support.

Thanks Ann. Aperture cards are three fold cards, the third fold has a shaped cut out - a square/oval/rectangle etc, and you put your work behind this so it is 'framed', rather than leave it organic.
I like both, it depends how you want your piece finished.

Ok I thought that must be what the are. I usually hear them called tri fold window cards.

Congratulations Tracey! Good for you for getting up the courage to offer them the cards. Hopefully, they will sell well and they will want more but at least you have your foot in the door if you want to try selling them other work. Way to go!!

Thanks so much Ruth for the lovely comment, much appreciated.
What I didn't say in my first post was I showed the gallery owner my seashore pod. He said he liked it and to send some email pictures of my work to his wife. I will do this of course but I have two projects I would like to finish and add to the email this week.
I know I shouldn't get too excited but I think I have already failed on that score.

Well all they can say is no at this point and that isn't always because of your work. Sometimes gallery owners don't have the space or your work doesn't fit with what they already have. But they liked the pod (what's not too like?), so I think you're on the right track.

I made a weaving with my blended batt wheel spun yarn, it looks really dull.

I made a weaving with my blended batt wheel spun yarn, it looks really dull. Could it be improved with bright hand stitching?

Thanks very much Carole !
Two of my cards are in the front window of the gallery!! They took my seashore pod and this new pod I have made, please excuse the photo. Terms are sale or return, fine by me.

Woo-Hoo!
I love the colours and shape of the new pod - I'm sure it will sell.
