Hi everyone! I'm curious about what needle felted projects others in here have made/are working on. Wanna do a show and tell? (You don't have be mainly a "needle-felter"; it's as nice to see regardless of your experience and use of the needles)
Upload pictures, and say something about what it is, what inspired you to make it and if you want what fibers and/or needle you've used. We might learn something new, discover new tips and tricks.

I'm a 'wet-felter' but I find needle felting invaluable for embellishing/adding fine detail to some of my projects. The latest piece I used needle felting on was my first quarter challenge - it's about half way down this page: linkThe most needle felting I've done on one piece of felt is this challenge from Ruth and Deb: duck and worms

Apart from flat needlefelting, which I don't do often, but do more of, this was one of the first things, I made. Based on some clay heads I used to make as insense holders: felt head sculpture by zedster01, on Flickr This is one of my fave's, it's not great, but the hair is based on my Dad's 70's combover: windy! by zedster01, on Flickr

Hiya Stargazer, I'm a hybrid.. needle and wet-felter, often on the same piece. Here's a little one I made using quilt-batting as the core and hand-dyed Portuguese merino as the skin. 38 spiral needles are my favorite, and I keep a single, Clover pen and 6-stabber on hand. https://www.instagram.com/p/BPLJvxeh3F3

Not a very good photo but this is Slime, a sea monster that I made years ago with needle felting. The thick/thin yarn really make his "look". Just needled the ends into his body.

Wow, wonderful works, everyone! ---
Lyn, love how you used needlefelting to create the window and all. And the second link is just crazy fun and creative.
Zed, love your sculptures. "Windy" is really charming! Would you like to show any of your flat felted pieces?
Shana, that's a creative little thing! Not at all what I expected when I saw the video. Pst! How did you manage to copy in a instagram video not being a screenshot?? Is it a feature on a apple phone?
Ruth, he is adoreable!! Agree, the yarn really do make his character. Love the features on the head.

Thanks for showing, Zed, they're beautiful! Perfect use of warm/cold colors, love the dog's expression!
The landscape takes me back to a place I used to spend my holidays when I was younger. Love the atmosphere in it. What was the inspiration?

Thanks stargazer I think I probably just searched flickr for an inspiration photo I thought would be simple eough for me to try. It was so long ago, but I think I might have be looking for abandoned sheds or something. I think this was the photo I copied for Blue Dog: I remember not having a printer and trying to trace the picture from my monitor
