After years of using a cheese grater (and trying not to nick my knuckles), I finally got smart and put the olive oil soap bars in my food processor! I shred 4 or 5 bars at a time with very little clean-up. No Ikea here in Nashville, but they have started delivering some items... very dangerous

Did you read the list of ingredients Bonnie? It's s-w-e-e-t! However, it does provide that extra burst of energy needed when you feel your knees giving way on the last level at Ikea. The grater is excellent - I wish I'd discovered it earlier.

I did read those ingredients and it would put me in a diabetic coma for sure. But sounds so good. The York Peppermint Patty is popular here in the US.

I don't have one though so the rotary grater is still a step up from the nail and knuckle eater of a grater I was using.

I LOVE Ikea! I used to have a plastic rotary grater in the 80's (it was probably from the 60's though!) I use grated soap for degumming, so I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
I get my 'netting' from Ikea. Teresia fabric I think it is, £1.50 a metre.
I went to our local charity shop yesterday and got some bamboo placemats for the well being centre, I'm pretty sure I bought back one of my Ikea ones I'd donated a while ago!
I'm starting an Ikea list now!

You said something there Zed that struck a chord - how many times have I given something that I haven't used for years to a charity shop, only to find that 5 weeks later I need it!

Be careful with the food processer. I killed one grating soap. Soap is very hard, the other thong that kills them apparently is try to great parmesan cheese. I think is because you have to put a lot of down pressure on them to get them grated.
