I agree with Ruth, it would make a beautiful hanging.

I'm reading some of the older posts, and found this piece of felt that I think is just gorgeous. There are no recent posts by the person who originally posted it, but does anyone know if there is a layer of tulle or something felted into the surface of this? When you view the photo really large, it looks like there is some type of mesh in the top 1/3 of it.

I wonder what she finally did with the piece. It was gorgeous and would make a beautiful wall hanging. Like aowm I would have taken it all apart. I know that doesn't answer your question Laura, but maybe Pam will let us know.

I don't think there is mesh on there but I'm not sure. Pam hasn't posted in a long time and has not been active on the forum so I doubt you'll get a reply.

Clicking on the flickr photo it does look like there is mesh of somekind, Pam was into a lot of silk paper/mixed media paper, and I think her leaves were made from it. Here's a list of the posts she started, maybe you can find something there: feltandfiberstudio.proboards.com/user/7/recent_threads
