Where do you guys recommend buying locks for felting sheep (tried to twist and curl myself and I have an ugly looking shihtzu hanging on my Jesse tree. . . ), adding darling trim to things etc? I found a few I liked the looks of but they are always out of stock. I don't tend to like wildly dyed ones, I would like to buy from US or Canada. Or if you recommend a plcae that sells the natural locks or fleece I would appreciate that also!
I actually had raw alpaca that had unique crimp/curl on the end and wet felted it to a pair of elbow length mittens for my daughter and it looked very neat, but not quite what I was looking for. Forgive my weird words when asking questions - I don't know all the lingo for everything and my head is spinning on what I do know *G*

if your trying to make curls on a needle felted sheep I would suggest Blue Face Lester curls they are small and tight. Talk to Karen she has some BFL but may have something better.

I prefer Wensleydale and Cotswold and also have the Lincoln Long Wool with its fabulous long locks. Gotland is fine too. Go and have a look at www.etsy.com/market/wool_locks to give you an idea.
