Thanks, Mags and Judith. Judith, I will always see mistakes and worry over them. Unfortunately it's just my nature. I always think there is a better way of doing something and I'm always looking - lol.

Finding better ways of doing something is different than making a mistake. Felting is innovative, we're always discovering something 'new' even if it's only new to us. And those 'mistakes' are just other discoveries that will be more usefull for something else

I just heard this podcast where a father asked the children at dinner every night, "What did you fail in today and what did you learn from that failure?" And if they didn't have something, he would say that they hadn't tried enough new things that day. Meaning, everyone fails, especially when just starting to learn something new. It's what you learn and do with the "failure" that teaches you something. And that it's OK to fail as long as you look back at it and see what you learned from the experience.
Being addictive is just the beginning of our plans! LOL

Everything is subjective anyway. I recently did a little presentation of my "nonobjective abstract fiberart experiments" to our traditional quilt guild. Let's just say that they were polite. But when I show these experiments to my art guild, where I am the only fiber artist, they think I am a rock star.

Traditional quilters are very narrow minded in my experience.

The art quilt people seem to be a seperate group, much more experimantal.
