The gnomes are lovely! You've given me a great idea for using up my locks this winter! I also like your cuff. Are cuffs popular in your part of the world?
Hoping you will share your camping/travel journey photos.

Viltmaaraan i love them!! Are the "bodies" simply pine cones or is there some other sort of base that you attached the wavy locks to? The different hats are so cute and give them each a personality.

Marilyn the lights have brought your vase to life, I love what you have done.
Viltmaaraan, I love the forest folk with their cone bodies - magical and the vase is super.

Thanks, I lay the wavy locks down, put a wool thread 90 degrees on it and a bit longer. Than use my glue gun, zig-zag it over the thread and roll the pine cone over it. Because of the long thread, I can lay a knot. Hopefully you understand the explanation

I saw those little man at " Karhunpesäkivi" (bears cave) in the neighbourhood of Inari (Finland ). They didn't use pine cones but pieces of a tree, also nice. Later I saw them also on the site of Zara...very nice !!

I am still with the Troll's. This time I wanted to attache the hair on the head, maybe that is easier (I thought ). First I layer on the head with a resist between so it couldn't attache to each other... but only half of the hair became attached. Better is to spread it out on a bit of fleece, like a sandwich and make a little start with felting, put it later against the head. You can see the pics, the nose is still loose, because it is weth. I think the first way I fixed the hair on the pine cone is not such a big deal as this way. See Link goo.gl/photos/4TFQpcw4uDEzTif76

They still look very cute to me! I wonder if needle felting might be more efficient at getting the locks to stick to the hat..., but they might bunch up too much then.
