Hello ladies
Any of you using this?
Can you please measure one of the bubbles for me - in millimetres, if possible :-)
I can get hold of piece locally (South Africa) but want to make sure that the bubbles are not too large.
Many thanks Linn

I use the solar cover as a mat for my workspace. I recommend not using blue. The clear is better if you need to layout a template underneath. The ridgity is also important I have 16mm and it very heavy and not conducive for rolling. 12mm is better but that is the thickness of the vinyl not the size of the bubble. I'll measure mine when I go down to work and let you know. I use bubble wrap on top of the mat. That is 3/16 " or 4.8 mm.

I use a solar pool cover. The size of the bubbles is very similar to small bubble wrap. Not sure what thickness I have as it rolls fairly easily.

LInn the bubbles are about 3/8 " round, 9.5 mm.

Thank you Ruth & Marilyn - your info helped a lot in making my decision NOT to buy the local cover because it seems to be more "industrial" and the bubbles are too large.
Not worth spending that money and I can't roll it up!
