I like the lights against the blue! And it's got some lovely texture - very pretty.

Your lit up forest is very effective. My daily dose Saturday was making the middles of laundry balls. Monday was wrapping wool around them and stuffing them into nylons, 60 of them. This morning I wrapped another 20. It took over a kilogram of wool. This evening they are in the washer.

My daily dose this weekend was my first attempt at processing raw wool. This was some wool that a friend sent me from the sheep she raises for meat. It's blend of several breeds - Karakul and Leister Longface are two I remember slightly. I did it in my kitchen sink. I think I'll leave wool processing to the professionals, or people with a bigger set-up. I'll post in the Processing Raw Fibers thread.

I forgot to add that I tried my new drum carder on cat fur. It didn't work. I should have taken a picture, but half went onto the drum in clumps & half stayed on the little drum. Then the run on the big drum started going to the little drum. :-)
