I love them Marilyn! Sooo pretty. Have you considered those tiddly little led lights on copper? Sometimes called 'rice lights' because of their size and shape. Because of the copper, you can pull them up into a shape - they needn't just rest on the bottom of the vessel. I bought a string to put into a decorated bottle (sorry, I don't have an image - my grand-daughter liked the bottle so much she took it home!) The battery pack isn't as large as it looks in the photo and I stuck it to the back of the neck of the bottle - you couldn't see it from the front. Here are those I bought: linkHere's an image from amazon of lights in a bowl: link

Ooh! I like those lights Lyn. Unavailable at present, but I'm sure they'll be back in stock before Xmas.

Thanks Lyn! Cool lights that would work great. I'll have to see if I can find them elsewhere.

Look at the ship times Ann. They are probably coming directly from China. :-)

Yes, no good if you are in a hurry. I have ordered a few thing from there and they take 4-6 weeks. It's like it used to be when I was a kid.

Marilyn your table lights look great, they are like fires, I also really like Lyn's idea of little lights, I ahve used that idea putting lights into a felt picture - very effective.

Carol, I thought this would be great in a picture too, as stars or lights in windows or on a tree. I thought with the wire you wouldn't have to fight the cord in getting them placed right. years ago I had little lights for in one of those mini Christmas villages but the cord was always trying to twist the lights out of position.

My daily doses are all about natural dyeing. I am either planting new dye plants, harvesting leaves and flower buds from my tiny garden, or eco-printing. The rest of the time I am scrubbing pots. I have been using paper lately, but also linen. Fun fun fun!
You can catch up on my work at my minimalist blog (see below).
I have been enjoying see all of your fiber work!
