Hello, I have miss coming on the forum. Life is busy... I'm posting a dyeing I did with an idea that I have got. It must exist i'm sure but I never read or seen something on that so far. I have made 2 big knots prior putting my skein of wool in the dye bath. The end result is the two picture below. 1st photo before re skeined and 2nd after re skeined. Easy, fun and fast way to obtain a lot of variation with one basic color witich in Gun Metal form Jacquard.

It turned out really nice. It is fun to do. You can dye a light colour , say yellow and ten tie the knot and put it in a blue dye bath to get yellow and green wool. You can do it with combed top too.

Really nice colors you achieved, crealou! You are using a method very similar to shibori dyeing. Very cool!
