How lovely to receive the Thank you cards from all your 'surrogate grandchildren' Carole. Looking forward to seeing your wheelspun stuff. I'm hoping to get my loom warped again, my big problem is which of the projects in my head I should start with. Oh how hard life can be!!!!

So nice to get a thank you card. I did a little spindle spinning the last few days and yesterday when to my guild and helped with adding new books to the library.

Cathy- I love the scarf Judith – such a lovely chocolatey color! Sue B – One of the lovely parts of this group is hearing about the other parts of the world. Gauntlets! Well, it hasn’t reached 100 F yet this year in Texas Carole – the card is precious! My dose was unpacking all the boxes that have been stored around the house. It was almost like Christmas in July!. I unpacked some of the fibers I purchased as MSW. The lower right is yak & silk roving. I have a mystery bit of something that looks a lot like the tan camel. I also got some sari silk. Just because.

I'm in heaven with you on the unpacking, I bet you've forgotten a lot of it. Judith my head is bursting with project and ideas but I just don't have the time right now, I grab a few hours in the evening, Ann I went walking and spindling along the coast last week it's a lovely thing to do :-)

Elizabeth - have fun opening all the fibery goodness, always a surprise since it's been a while.
Judith - the yarns are wonderful. Just love the "tweedy" bits in the brown one.

Lovely spinning. You certainly did 'allez' at a cracking pace Judith! I reckon you should be wearing the yellow jumper.
