Gorgeous yarn, Judy.
Zed, I never bother pulling out bobbly bits of wool from netting. They somehow do not attach to the wool. But I understand, if you are preparing for a workshop you want to have them clean.

When I'd spent a couple of hours pulling bits off nets, what felt like half a sheep, yet the nets were still full of cr*p, & I did get a couple of bits of random colours on a pristine white on white scarf, that's when I changed to the painting sheet plastic. Love it. No more nets for me. Only slight disadvantage in workshops is that beginners often don't use enough water, so you have to carefully remove the plastic to top up.

Halay, the white you see is mulberry silk skein.
Judith, the Moorit is gorgeous…what are those little bits throughout?

I believe Zed. I have made little blobs to put 6 in a sandwich bag and it takes for ever to make them all and then put them in the bags.

I've been dyeing, dyeing, dyeing. Now back to felting! I've also been trying to work on that bowl with not so great results with free motion stitching. I don't think we get along.

Lovely colorway on your Scarf Cathy and Judith I love that rich brown - looks edible, My daily dose is a pair of gauntlets to keep the cold at bay.And a flower using some scrap prefelts.

Nice yarn Judith. I love natural colours. Will you keep spinning in the grease? The Shetland rolags look great. Sue I hope you don't need the gauntlets at this time of year. the flower would have been great for the second quarter challenge.

Judith, when you spin enough yarn you should open a shop! Love the tweedy look!
Nice work, Chookie…is it winter where you are? Or saving for winter?

Ann - I have the rest of the Moorit still in the grease so I'll continue to spin that in the grease. It's relatively clean, having had a few cool soaks to get the worst of the muck out. I wish I'd done the same with the black and the white which I scoured. We live and learn. Cathy - No way will I be selling any! Noone would want to pay for the preparation time. Sorting, cleaning, drying, carding (hand carders), spinning, plying, skeining, more washing, drying. Phew! But I'm having fun and intend to get some weaving and knitting done before too long.

Great work everyone, I love it when I've not checked for a few days and loads of loveliness appears, but of course I am especially interested in the spinning - what a great job Judith, I am desperate to get my hands on a wheel I have batts and pre batts waiting in the wings, spindling is grand but I really want to spin!!!! I should be getting a loan of a wheel over the next month then Judith I'll be hammering on your door for advice. Although not fibre I did get these beautiful cards from the school where I helped the children to weave.
