Elizabeth, have you taken classes with Lisa? Cathy and I keep talking about it but she's gone more than she's home now.

No, I have not taken hers. She's a fabulous felter, from looking at her work. I've heard that she can be a bit "felting should be done THIS way" when she teaches. I'd still love to learn from her.

I've heard the same. I believe "Strongfelt" says it all. :-)

I’ll agree on that, but I would still like to take one of her classes. Yes, STRONG felt. I could get into that...

I don't mind that so much in a class. I am there to learn how the teacher does something. I can adapt it to the way I like to felt later.

I agree Ann learning new techniques and then later adapting them to your own way of working adds so much to your studio work.

Hi all,
I haven't been on the forum in ages, so apologies for the late reply.
Lisa is an excellent instructor and even though I'd been felting for a while, I still learned SO much from her. Her technical abilities are beyond compare! If you get the opportunity to join one of her classes, you will not be disappointed.
I did a 4 day partial felt density workshop with her in her home studio and it was intense!

That sounds so interesting, Shana. Your class at Arrowmont looks great, too. Unfortunately, I've run out of vacation time for the year :-(
