Nice Judith! I did a little felting, scouring and mordanting for some natural dyeing this week.

Nice prints Cathy, are they still wet? Do you have a project in mind for them?

Judith, yes, they are wet in these photos. No idea what to do with them…any suggestions? They are small pieces, no more than 5 x 6 inches.

Thanks Judith and Ruth! Love the colors achieved on small samples, but now the question is, will they print up as nicely on large pieces? I need to wait for more correopsis flowers to show their beautiful faces. ;-))

Cathy. - They should print up just as nicely on a large piece. Planning your layout can be useful if you know what you want to do with it, though I find our old friend Serendipidy gives wonderful surprises.

Cathy, that top photo looks like you painted the flower bud on there. It's so detailed. Did you CHEAT? ;-) Are you mainly printing on new fabrics, or are you using thrifted items?

I took a leaf out of Galina's book and made a felted fish this week and put some LED lights inside to turn him into a night light. Huge kudos to Judith for recognising him to be a lion fish when he was still just a soggy, shapeless pile of wet felt, I really didn't expect anyone to get it right! link

The prints are very distinct. Small pictures. Felt them and then stitch on them.
The fish is great. He made me laugh.
