Oh do let us know if you try it, Frances. I tried something like this a while ago but it got into a big tangle & I gave up! I don't know why except I didn't have the patience or ability to fold the fabric into pleats nicely. I might try again sometime! Be interested to know if anyone else has used this method?

Looks like it would work well. The foil would stay in place better than plastic wrap.

I tried something like this on a small scale. It turned out OK but it was just a sample.
