Very nice Wall hanging. I like the way it is staggered and the title is good too.

I was curious what would come out of your project and just love your wall hanging Jill. It looks beautiful on the wall.

I love your wall hanging Jill and especially admire the way you cut it up and rejoined it like patchwork.

I finally broke into the Procion MX dyes. I can't tell you how many times I got them out, read the instructions, decided it was too difficult, and put them away again! I had a happy day dyeing yesterday, some cotton, calico and scrim with the Procion dyes and some wensleydale locks with Eurolana acid dyes. I tried cram jar dyeing for the scrim and scrunched up fabric in a deep dye bath for the blue cottons. I can foresee many more pieces of fabric coming soon - then what to do with them all? Happy days www.flickr.com/photos/24232165@N03/albums/72157663855882533

Beautiful results Marian. What to do with them? They'll make wonderful inclusions in felt!

Hi Viltmaaraan I make hats using a flat resist. And yes those are some of my paintings. I think lots of people here do many different creative things, not all of them with fibre!

This is one of my Daily Doses for March. This is a small bag - large enough to hold a wallet. I am getting into this embroidery stuff, evidently. The only problem is that I spend waay more time embroidering than felting. But it's fun. I LOVE ginkgos! The embroidery is to define the leaves better as they were somewhat lost in the felting process. My question is that I'd like to attach the cord shown above the bag, but I have no idea how. I had thought to cut a hole on each side and insert a grommet, but then what to do with the cord to hold it? My problem is mainly how to terminate the cord so it doesn't fray. I'm open to suggestions.
