I have been very impatiently waiting for more information about this festival. My sister lives near by and I have a free airline ticket so I AM GOING!! My dilemma is when to arrive. I want to take as many classes as possible, but I don't have a lot of vacation time. Has anyone ever gone to this show and has an opinion on it? Does anyone have any 'insider' information on who the felting artists will be? I won't tell anyone I've tried to be patient but I broke down Thanks for any information. PS. I do plan to volunteer to help, too.

Elizabeth, I've never been there, but the owners of one of the shops here in IL (The Fold) travel across country every year to attend. So, I imagine it's worth their while. The owners name is Toni Neil. Tell her I said hi if you stop at her booth. I love going there because it's more fun to be able to touch and see the roving than ordering online, for a small shop she has a lot of choices. However, the shows she does here are usually more yarn.
Have fun! What classes will you take?

I will be sure to look her up, Marilyn. Will she give me a discount if I mention your name?? I just had a look at the classes and I'm a tiny bit disappointed. All the felting is at the beginner level. There are plenty of dyeing classes so I think I'll take a couple of them. I also am looking at a spindle spinning class just for grins. I'm taking a more advanced class locally this weekend, so that will be fun.

I doubt it it Elizabeth! :-) it has to cost a bit to cross country. I didn't see any classes of interest to me, but if you're new to dyeing that's a good idea.
Have fun with the class this weekend. Please post pics.

I only see one felting class. Solid form felting techniques could be interesting.

Ann, I think that class was last year (their website is a bit confusing). That's one I'd love to take. Sadly the only felting classes are beginner-level. I'm sure I'd learn something, but I think I'd rather learn a lot about dying.

I'm registered!! A dying class all day Wed, then Indigo and spinning on Friday. And the best part is that I'll be visiting my Sis and her family while I'm there.
