the rose bud bowl is great. I am not sure I understand what you did. make another and take lots of pictures. maybe you could to a how to for the blog too Frances.
The puppet is very good. I cant wait to see what you do for a face.
a book is a good analogy. It never occurred to me to sew them together I was going to cut them ad then duct tape them together. Maybe I will try both ways. I was going to ask why it was a turd hat too. I am curios about all the rings.
the octopod turned out great. Have your thought about dying him? He looks a little starfish like too. maybe a hybrid? the urchin sound like it will be very interesting.

Absolutely not, Frances. I like that we both thought of the book resist & your rose is great the way the petals wrap around each other, I find that type of 3 dimensional shape almost impossible to imagine. Am not good at spatial awareness.
Starfish is on the list. Decided not to try to make the sea creatures necessarily realistic, just out of my memory / imagination!

So impressed - your octo is wonderful - makes my little rose petal pod look a little pathetic. Octopod is wonderful but so is your rose petal pod Frances!

Thank you all :-) I just stuffed him to hold his shape while he was drying, and he is all dry now (still awaiting his eyes) He works really well with fingers in, you can make his nose twitch so I am glad I took the time to add the extra resist that helped shape his nose. I love using puppets for story telling with children. Terri, where is your Kiwi other half from? Have you been for a visit? Very much looking forward to the final photo - he's wonderful.

Oh, those are lovely gifts for a 4-year old. Nice work! With all those fabulous slippers you have made, I am not surprised that new resists worked for you!

Hmm. I have the same problem as Frances - they are very small and I can't enlarge them to see the detail

Sorry ladies if you cannot enlarge the photos - perhaps I reduced the size in Photobucket where they are stored. However, you can see them on FB Nada Vukadinovič beslič. Thanks for your lovely comments.
