Children can DEFINITELY sleep on the floor - give them sleep bags and tell them they are camping!

These are teens now. Not so gullible.

Teri, your Canadian friends could just sleep on one of those Aerobeds which inflate in 30 seconds. Comfy and should save you the bother of clearing out your lovely fibers.

I think my other half was expecting me to throw some of it in the bin in the process of moving it all, and was disappointed that all bar a piece of tatty bubble wrap was kept

Thanks for all your nice comments. fiberartsalliance.org/www.facebook.com/SEFiberArtsAlliance/?fref=tsAttended my first meeting with this group (about 20) of very talented fiber enthusiasts (felting, weaving, dying, knitting, crocheting, collages, quilting, etc.). They have just leased permanent space and it is about 45 minutes from my home so on a weekend not a bad drive. When finished they will have spaces for dyeing, felting, looms, etc. I will probably join the group (membership is $50 per year) which gives you discounts on classes and free entry to some lectures. Two days a week they are open from 10 until 2 and you can bring a project and work on it or get help or opinions on your design. Just bring a sack lunch and your supplies. Sounds fun!

Today I made a dish garden with several potted plants for the Garden Club to give to a member that recently lost her son to cancer. After I finished it I thought it needed a little something else so I made a quick piece of felt to create some interest on the container.I like to look I got. I had originally thought of making a mat for the planter to sit on but this showcases the felt and adds more texture. Just love combining my hobbies together into one unit.
