There's a woman selling fleeces, raw wool and some batts on Facebook in the Spinners in the UK group: www.facebook.com/groups/woolspinning/?fref=nfIt's closed so you have to join. She has whole Shetland fleeces, lots of different breeds, Lleyn, Lleyn x Wensleydale, Zwartbles, some cross breeds she isn't sure of, alpaca and more. She's selling it to raise money for horse feed and it's from £1 to £2 per 100g and postage in the UK is £3 upto 2kg if it will fit in the box size limit I've ordered a kilo. She does says some is dirty, has VM, but that it comes up clean, and at those prices, I thought it was worth a few quid

I completely forgot to say, someone asked her if she could ship to Canada, and she said of course as long as they don't mind the shipping prices.
To give you an idea upto 1kg, or a parcel weighing 1kg, prices to Canada/US, most places outside Europe is £12.95, that's about US$20 and CA$26.50
to Aus/NZ it's £13.90, that's about AU$30.50 NZ$34
That's our post office prices, I can't guarantee she'd charge that if she has to buy a box, or drive there, but it gives you a rough idea if you thought about asking her.

Yeah, Mule sheep, something about a cross between a border leicester ram and something or other ewe? Not a donkey or mulesed sheep I took photos, I just need to upload them to flickr, which is a pain because it randomises uplaods. I'll do it after my dinner.

I should have known flickr would mess up. Here is the album. I did upload the photos in some kind of order: the raw wool, raw locks, raw and washed if there was any. It was really sunny today, so I took photos in sun and shade to give a good idea of what the fleece is really like. I'd recommend scrolling down to the bottom, click on the last photo, then click the arrow on the left for 'next' www.flickr.com/photos/zedster01/albums/72157658970219038My faves are: Castlemilk Moorit; Shetland, Romney, Mule and zwartble
