My daily dose today was a double-dose! I finished doing some highlighting work with hand-embroidery on my "Winds in the Willows" felt wallhanging. I also started a curtain panel project inspired by the Korean “bojagi” or “pojagi” technique. I hadn't heard of Pogaji, so had to look it up. What a great effect and a new (to me) way to use "flat and fell" seams. Perfect for a stained glass effect window furnishing. I'm not sure whether or not to thank you for introducing me to this as it has to go on the when I get 'a round tuit' list, which gets ever longer!

It always interesting to find a new technique and add it to the list. I’ve had pojagi on my mind for awhile but was collecting vintage kimono panels and other silk scraps for the curtain. Of course, you certainly don’t have to use silk, but something translucent is nice for letting the light shine through.

Sorry to hear of your husband's ill health, Frances. Wishing him a speedy recovery & hope that you can find a little window of time for yourself occasionally, at least.
